Setup
How it works.

Generate the calendar feed in Weekwright and copy the URL.

In Outlook on the web: Calendar → Add calendar → Subscribe from web → paste the URL → name it → Import.

In classic Outlook desktop: Account Settings → Internet Calendars → New → paste the URL.

Outlook polls the feed periodically and shifts appear as all-visible events on that calendar.
Honest limits
What this does not do.
Every integration has edges. Better you read them here than discover them the week you go live.
- Outlook's refresh for internet calendars is roughly every few hours and is not configurable by the subscriber or the publisher.
- Read-only. It is a subscription, not a two-way sync — Outlook cannot push a change back into the schedule.
- Published weeks only; drafts are excluded.
- New Outlook for Windows has moved these settings around across versions. If 'Subscribe from web' is missing, use Outlook on the web — it writes to the same mailbox.

How do I subscribe Outlook to my shift schedule?
In Outlook on the web, open Calendar → Add calendar → Subscribe from web, paste your Weekwright feed URL, and import. Your published shifts appear as a separate calendar you can toggle.
Does this need a Microsoft 365 admin to approve it?
No. A subscribed internet calendar is a per-user action with no app registration, no admin consent, and no Microsoft Graph permissions — one of the main reasons we ship iCal rather than a Graph integration.
Can I get shift changes into Outlook faster?
Not through Outlook — it controls the poll interval. Employees who need faster updates should rely on in-app notifications, or subscribe in Apple Calendar, which lets you set a 5-minute refresh.
