About
And it's the worst-supported. Spreadsheets, group texts, half-built scheduling tools that auto-fill templates and call it "AI." Weekwright exists to fix that.
Weekwright is an AI-first workforce scheduling tool — vertical- agnostic, built for operators in restaurants, retail, healthcare, call centers, and manufacturing. The schedule writes a first draft. You review, tweak, publish.
Behind the chat panel is Claude (Anthropic's model) orchestrating real tools — not a thin wrapper around a language model. When you ask "cover the weekend," it reads availability, skills, time-off, and your compliance rules — then proposes shifts that respect all of them. Every assignment cites its reasoning. Every change is audit-logged.
We're a small team building deliberately. Each feature ships with a manual equivalent — drag-to-reassign, click-to-create, click-to-publish — because the AI is a shortcut, not a requirement. If the agent disappears tomorrow, Weekwright is still a strong scheduler.
How we decide
Every AI proposal renders as ghost shifts before it lands. Apply / Discard is one click. The agent never publishes a week without a human signing off — that's not a technical limitation, it's a product decision.
Every AI assignment cites why — availability, skills, recent shifts, manager notes. "Trust me" isn't enough when payroll is on the line.
Per-location penalizes you for opening more sites. Per-employee penalizes you for hiring. Per-seat is the closest proxy for actual value — and Stripe handles proration cleanly when you grow.
EU Working Time Directive, predictive-scheduling laws, jurisdiction-specific rest minimums — checked at create / move / publish. Warned or blocked, your call.
We don't sell it, don't share it for ads, don't train shared AI models on your private rosters. Subprocessors are listed publicly in our privacy policy; you can audit them anytime.
Weekwright treats the employee app as first-class — request time-off, post a swap, acknowledge the week, all from a phone. They don't count toward seats; they're the point.
