Yes. Overnight shifts cross midnight cleanly (the underlying timezone math handles it). Three-shift rotations and 12-hour day/night patterns are both supported.
EU Working Time Directive is the default in the Healthcare preset. US state-specific rules (California 8/40 overtime, Oregon predictive scheduling, NYC fair workweek) can be added as compliance rules — the manager flips the relevant ones on.
Yes. Employee-role members see their own shifts, can request time-off, post or accept swaps, and acknowledge the published week. They cannot see other staff's full schedule.
